Almost anything but these are some of the more common asks:

• Sizes - we put standard sizes on the website but we can make your table pretty much any length and width you would like.
• Shape - most of our tables are shown in rectangle shape but we can do square and round also.
• Height - most dining tables are 72 to 74 cm tall, but we can make it almost any height.
• Skirt Depth - we are quite often asked for a variation in the skirt for people with longer legs who want more space, or just because you prefer the look.
• Table top material - most dining table tops are made in edge grain ply, however we can use a number of different materials if you prefer. We've even made some in engineered bamboo!
• Leg shape - we list 6 different legshapes, however if you have something else in mind please just let us know what it is!

We can then send you a proforma order for your consideration, and if you would like to proceed place the order from the pro-forma draft.

One the order is placed we will go ahead and order in any materials needed and start to make the table – if there is any clarification we need we will contact you.

We order the relevant materials and components and schedule it into our production plans – some of your choices remain flexible for a number of weeks – so if you would like to change something please ask – it may be of course that it is too late, in which case we will let you know or let you know what the cost of change would be at that point, we always try to be as flexible as possible.

We always use the very ‘best in class’ materials we can find. For our edge grain table tops we use the best grade Birch, Poplar, and Marine ply, always supplied by FSC regulated suppliers which ensures the timber is sourced from responsible suppliers . Most of our table legs are made with the best quality softwood.  

All of the timber and wood for our dining tables is sourced from FSC suppliers, and we are constantly seeking to use only the most sustainable paint finishes and glues. You can find out more about the sustainability of our dining tables here.

Our tables are designed to be as low maintenance as possible – cleaning with suitable cleaning products is recommended.

All of our bespoke dining tables are handmade in our workshop, which is based in Cornwall, UK.

Normally we take between 6 and 8 weeks from receiving the order through to dispatch of the bespoke table from our workshop. In some cases this may be more if we need to source something unusual or at our very busiest times, however we normally advise of this at the time of receiving the order if not before.  At certain times of the year we may be able to do that sooner, its always worth asking if you would like it sooner. 

So far we have not had a problem with a table after delivery, however if you were to have a problem please just let us know and we will make an assessment. If we feel it is faulty materials or workmanship and it is within a 1 year period we will put it right. If it is outside 1 year or is not down to materials or workmanship we will endeavour to put it right at the least cost we can.

This is a question often asked particularly of our ‘Edge grain Ply’ tops. They are extremely durable and long lasting – each of the tops are finished with ‘Polyvine Extreme Varnish’ with at least 6 coats – this product is used primarily for kitchen worktops and is the very best available.

We deliver with a specialist furniture delivery company, who will advise the date of delivery in advance and will provide an online tracking service on the day of delivery, depending on the size of the table the team may be 1 or 2 persons, they will deliver to your ground floor room of choice.

Larger and heavier tables may be delivered in 2 parts and assembled at your place of delivery. We will contact you ahead of the delivery to assess any delivery requirements such as stairs lifts and tight corners.
