Here in the Cornwall workshop, I build a small collection of bespoke wooden desks and custom desk tops, each crafted from my signature edge-grain plywood. Whether you’re after a beautifully simple fixed-height desk, a made-to-measure top for your own sit–stand frame, or a surface to upgrade an existing base, everything is made to order. The result is a clean, modern workspace that feels good to sit at and easy to live with.

Three Desks, Built for Real Homes and Workspaces

I keep the range focused: a handful of fixed-height desks plus a custom sit–stand option. Each blends form and function with a warm, modern feel. You choose the size, the plywood top, and whether you’d like the legs natural or painted — a small detail that makes a big difference to the look of your space.

Standard Desk

A simple, refined wooden desk designed to create a calm, productive workspace. Built with your chosen ply top — Birch, Poplar or Marine Ply — and available in any size you need.

Scandi Desk

A lighter, tapered-leg design with a relaxed, modern character. Great for home offices where you want something elegant without feeling bulky.

Sit–Stand Desk Top

If you already have a sit–stand or fixed-height base you love, I can make a custom edge-grain ply top to fit. Perfect for upgrading an existing setup or replacing a worn surface. I can supply it pre-drilled or left plain depending on your frame.

Custom Desk Tops for Your Base

If you’ve already found the perfect legs or an adjustable base, I can make a bespoke top to match. Any dimensions, any colour, any plywood type. It’s an easy way to bring something refined and well-crafted into your home office or studio without changing the whole desk.

Made to Order in Cornwall

Each piece is handmade by me, one at a time. No mass production — just quiet, careful craftsmanship using modern materials. Every desk is finished with a low-VOC, water-based varnish for a smooth, natural feel.
